Self-reliant

As of 2003 I have worked freelance. What began as a means of financing my education soon became my vocation. My clients come primarily from international cooperation organization, a field that is my personal strong point.

Fiji Time

10/2005 – 01/2006 As one of four selected volunteers for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) International, I supported the efforts of the WWF South Pacific program in the Fiji islands. My primary assignment was communications for the climate change program. I designed and executed public relations projects to increase awareness of the climate change concept throughout the south pacific region. My work took me to numerous project sites on the outer islands.

In brief

2001 – 2005 I studied business administration at the Free University of Berlin and graduated with distinction. My degree concentration was marketing, organization and leadership as well as environmental management. My thesis work was on “Events in international cooperation – impact and evaluation”. As a co-trainer at management training sessions at the FU Berlin, I was able to put my theories into practice.

Promotion, promotion, promotion

1997 – 2002 Before university, I absolved several internships and completed my training in public relations as a staff project manager at the Publicis Berlin advertising agency. During my term at university, I continued to work freelance for Publicis on a wide range of projects.
